Rohan has worked with HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley since July of 2008. He is board-certified in both general and cardiothoracic surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He previously served as a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon at Trinity Health System in Steubenville, Ohio, and Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla. For two years prior to joining Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp in October 2009, Oates was a senior executive with Empire State Development Corp. Most recently, he served as vice president/regional director and was responsible for managing New York state’s economic development initiatives in Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Sullivan, Ulster and Putnam counties. Friedman earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, completed her premedical requirements at the University of New Mexico, and her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. She completed her residency in family medicine and fellowship in geriatrics at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She is a member of the American Board of Family Physicians with added qualifications in geriatrics. She has most recently practiced with Institute for Family Health in New Paltz.
