► Kris Turner and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup!

It was in his eyes. The intensity and focus they call "the look". It mesmerizes, boring through you like a X-Ray.

I only saw once or twice in my life, but never in one so young.

Kris Turner is barely 15 years, but one glance tells you that he goes all the way.It is easy to fall under its spell, especially when you hear the incredible rags to riches story that might could happen in America.

Kris has started a motorcycle when he was only 3 years, believe it or not. Coached by her father, Danny Turner, Kris came to the last - and how dirty - through young motocross. He was only 7 years old when he started taking home trophies in the range of 65cc motocross racing and is currently third in the Eastern Division of the American series 125GP.

Kris told his dad from the beginning that his goal is to become MotoGP World Champion. We all know how difficult it is for a European, let alone an American. But Danny Turner wanted to give the support that Kris Danny never had as a youth, and the die was cast.

Danny and Sue Turner are going all the way to support their son, and it is heartening to see.It was not an easy decision, but Kris obviously has special talents, because he was one of 1100 young riders who recently tested the 2007 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup series - and was accepted!

The next step was a can-you-get-it-fro journey from Chattanooga, Tennessee in Valencia, Spain to compete against 165 other riders to see if he could do it in the top 20. The first 20 riders would then move on to compete in a 7-series support race on the 2007 motorcycle racing MotoGP World Championship.

It was a wonderful story if it ended here, but the fairy tale is not over yet. Kris has made the top 20 and is now competing in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup!

This is a phenomenal opportunity Kris and we wish him all the best. The Rookies Cup is not just about racing bike - it's also about the personality of the young rider, their communication skills (important for sponsors), competitive spirit, sportsmanship and knowledge mechanics.Kris will excel in all these categories because it is one of the nicest, most well-spoken young adults want to meet.
